Telephone Answering Service The Ottawa Area Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous is an organization of the Ottawa-Carleton region and is responsible for the co-coordinating our telephone answering service (TAS). If a caller asks to be visited or phoned, or if the TAS volunteer feels that Twelve step call would be helpful, a twelve step volunteer is contacted. This is true front-line AA, and a great example of the responsibility at work. Members with at least one year of sobriety who are interested in volunteering can check for avialable time slots.
